ANNOUNCEMENTS
The CENTER Re-opens on March 8, 2008, Saturday
Halina sa Ating Bahay Kubo
Welcome to Bahay Kubo Center for Philippine Culture and Arts - wishing everyone a wonderful new year!
In 2008, we are working to strive harder to involve Filipinos and Filipino-Americans in the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities to help promote and be proud of our Filipino heritage. The Center would like to encourage our youth and young adults to expand their knowledge and understanding of our very diverse Philippine culture. We invite you to join the different programs and workshops we offer -- Learn Filipino Program, Filipino Martial Arts, Kusina Culinary Class, and our newest and exciting workshops on the performing arts and theater.
Please come visit us from March through November and experience joy in seeing different generations embrace camaraderie within every person we meet. Together, we can achieve our vision to promote pride in and appreciation of Philippine history, culture, language, arts, music, heritage, etc.
We hope to meet and talk to you soon.
In behalf of the Center,
Marie Anne Diamond
President
